Fall/Winter Exhibition

The mission of The Gallery at Morning Star has always been to get to know each other, see each other, and build community through the arts.

Artists and visitors have shared so much over the years and we like to think we are all better for it.

With this Call for Artists, we ask you to go Deeper Still.

Share something personal and important to you, something that helps us know and see you for who you truly are. As part of this creative community, you are among friends, share from your heart.

All mediums considered.

Important Dates:

  • SUBMISSIONS DEADLINE: SUNDAY, September 20, 2026 at midnight.

  • You will be notified Wednesday, September 23 what pieces have been selected. 

  • Selected works MUST be dropped off Sunday, September 27, 12:30pm-3pm, 2026

  • Do not ship or drop off work before the selection invitation has been made

  • Please feel free to reach out for more information: Amelia Osborne, Curator

  • Location: The Gallery at Morning Star, 12509 Idlewild Road, Matthews, NC 28105                                                       

  • This exhibition will remain on display from October 9, 2026 - January 31, 2027

  • Mark Your calendars: Opening Reception is set for Friday, October 9, from 6:00p.m. to 8:30p.m.                             Live musical guests, Refreshments and meet-n-mingle time, always free and open to everyone!
