We are equally open to all mediums (select media),  all artistic levels and all size pieces. Including but not limited to; Craft/Traditional Arts, Photography, Drawing, Writing/Poetry, Mixed-Media/Multi-Discipline, Painting, Sculpture, Clay/Ceramics, Fiber Arts, Assemblages and Mobiles. Installations will be considered after proposal to curators. 

 

We are looking for a myriad of heartfelt interpretations of this exhibition theme that when shared, widens our circle of community and relationship.

The Gallery at Morning Star, is on a mission to get to know each other more sincerely and deeply.  We include, celebrate and lament with all BECAUSE of what makes us unique and that is what binds us closer together in humanity. ALL colors, ages, creeds, beliefs, origins and cultures! We curate quarterly exhibitions that culminate the widest range of interpretations to the set theme in an inviting beautiful guise that is really how we make space for a platform for expression, each voice, each story, that speaks up to the life we are all living. We gather to take a stand on social justice, Earth preservation and human dignity.

Facts and Frequently asked questions: 

  • We are a not-for-profit space, there are never entry fees for visiting or participation, there are no commissions taken from the sale of available works. Not all work submitted has to be for sale, pieces are welcome to be marked not for sale (NFS) or on loan.  Submissions are not automatically accepted and invited to join the show. 

  • We are not a retail space. We are not a rental facility. 

  • During the run of quarterly exhibitions, we host additional events and experiences.

  • We will not endorse politics, sales pitches, service advertisements, NFT inquiries nor anyone or anything impeding on anyone else's toes, space of dignity. 

  • We do not facilitate as an art agent; the curators will manage reservations from initial purchase requests and liaise with introductions. All sales of work will be handled by the individual artist and purchaser and we will mark the tag with a red dot (sold) however the work will not be released until the close of the exhibition. 

  • We operate solely on donations, gifts and grants made directly to The Gallery at Morning Star. (links to such)

  • Do not ship or drop off work before the confirmation invitation has been made and/or without prior arrangements made directly with the Curator. We will not be responsible and you will be kindly dismissed from the exhibition.
